Chuck E. Cheese launches new arcade for adults at upstate NY mall

Must read

If you grew up going to birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese, you’re in for an exciting surprise.

Chuck E. Cheese announced the launch of Chuck’s Arcade — a place “where nostalgia meets the future” and offers a combination of classic and new games, according to the company. One of the first locations can be found inside the Eastview Mall at 7979 Pittsford-Victor Road in Victor, New York.

“The arcade was created for adults and lifelong fans who grew up surrounded by the electric flow of arcade screens, the symphony of digital soundtracks and the thrill of chasing high scores with friends long into the night,” a June 30 news release says. “Chuck’s Arcade is a modern-day love letter to the games and people who made Chuck E. Cheese great.”

Here’s what to know.

Just like the good ol’ days, you’ll find an animatronic character like Chuck E. Cheese or one of the other characters from Munch’s Make Believe Band when you step inside each Chuck’s Arcade location.

“Every Chuck’s Arcade offers a unique environment with a distinct lineup of today’s hottest games and a rotating mix of retro classics,” according to Chuck E. Cheese.

You may be able to find games like Jurassic Park, Halo, Connect Four Hoops, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong and Centipede, but the company says no two locations are the same and game options differ between locations.

Where have Chuck’s Arcade locations opened?

In addition to the Victor location, which Wilmorite says is a rebrand of the existing “Fun Spot Arcade” that opened in October 2024, there are Chuck’s Arcades in eight other towns and cities across the U.S. Here’s where:

A ninth location is also coming to Brea, California, the company’s website states.
