Let the tailgating begin! Mostly dry, warm weather is forecast for the Cincinnati Bengals’ home preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Seasonably warm conditions and a dry airmass are expected on Friday, Aug. 22, and will persist through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service office in Wilmington. Cloudy skies are also forecast for Friday, with highs in the low 80s along I-70 and upper 80s along the Ohio River.

Clouds should scatter by Friday evening, but if thick overcast skies continue longer than expected, then temperatures may struggle to get out of the 70s.
Saturday, Aug. 23, will be the warmest day of the weekend, which is perfect for the Bengals vs. Colts matchup at Paycor Stadium. Highs will reach the upper 80s and possibly low 90s along the Ohio River and mid-80s near the I-70 corridor.
However, some scattered showers and storms may occur in the afternoon, particularly in north-central Kentucky and southern Ohio.
A cooler, drier weather pattern is forecast to move through the area Saturday night, with dewpoints dropping through the day on Sunday, Aug. 24. While a shower cannot be ruled out, mostly clear skies and low atmospheric moisture will be likely Sunday through next week.
