A 39-year-old Concord man died following a crash in Homer Township on Thursday, June 19, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash on M-60 near 29 Mile Road shortly after 11 p.m. where they found a vehicle in the middle of the roadway with extensive damage. Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was eastbound on M-60 when it left the roadway and overturned.
Investigators believe the driver was ejected during the crash.
Emergency medical assistance was rendered immediately, however the driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch Authority, Michigan State Police, Homer Fire Department, WMed, and Albion Community Ambulance.
