Crews battle blazing bus fire on New Jersey Turnpike

Crews battled a blazing bus fire on the New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday morning.

The fire broke out on the bus on the northbound eastern spur of the turnpike in Secaucus, before the approach to exit 15X.

The bus was pulled off on the right side of the roadway headed toward the Lincoln Tunnel. The driver apparently pulled over when the bus started to catch fire.

Traffic was spotted squeezing by as the bus was fully engulfed in flames.

The northbound eastern spur is closed for fire department activity. On the southbound side one lane is closed.

So far, there is no report of any injuries.
