ELKHART — Crossroads United Way announced the recipients of its latest round of Community Grant Awards. Four local organizations each have received $5,000 to enhance programming and services in the South-Central Elkhart neighborhood.
“We’re excited to support these organizations as they work to uplift the South-Central Elkhart community as well as empowering residents to be involved in shaping their neighborhood’s future,” said Bill Purcell, president/CEO Crossroads United Way.
This year’s recipients are
• The Minority Health Coalition Elkhart County
• C.A.R.E. University D.R.E.A.M. Academy
• Council on Aging of Elkhart County
• Elkhart Chapter of the Indiana Black Expo
The grants are part of Crossroads United Way’s ongoing commitment to support grassroots initiatives that address the unique needs of local neighborhoods. The grant selection process was led by a dedicated committee of South-Central Elkhart residents. This community-driven approach ensures that funding is awarded to projects with the greatest potential to create meaningful, lasting impact.
