Crowds gather outside Florida Capitol to protest ICE raid in Tallahassee

Must read

More than 150 people showed up outside the old Capitol Friday a day after law enforcement agencies swooped down on a Tallahassee construction site and detained 100 people as part of anti-illegal immigration crackdown led by President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

They shouted slogans and held up signs reading “Protect families not tear them apart” and “ICE out of TLH.”

The raid was likely the largest single illegal immigration sweep in Florida since DeSantis enthusiasticly agreed to join in on Trump’s aggressive mass deportation agenda.
