A Connecticut man is facing charges after police allegedly seized multiple types of narcotics and more than $10,000 while searching his residence and multiple vehicles in Watertown.
David Kolonsky, 36, was arrested Thursday on four counts of sale of narcotics and a single count of operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Det. Mark Conway of the Watertown Police Department.
Conway said the arrest follows a months-long investigation into allegations that Kolonsky was selling narcotics in Watertown and the Waterbury area. Watertown police were assisted by the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force and the Waterbury Police Department.
The investigation led to authorities obtaining search warrants for Kolonsky’s residence and two vehicles. They were carried out on Thursday.
During the searches, Conway said authorities allegedly found about $12,000 as well as fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, packaging supplies, cutting agents and a blender containing fentanyl.
Kolonsky is free on bond and is expected to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 29.
