‘Dancers’ allegedly offering more than dance at Bucyrus area establishment; one arrested

Three people were arrested and one was charged for allegedly engaging in prostitution after a search was conducted at a County Road 330 dance club.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Fantasy Land West, Bucyrus, following a report of dancers offering customers sexual acts inside the VIP room, according to a news release.

The warrant was obtained after an investigation into the establishment revealed “dancers” were offering customers sexual acts inside the VIP room, outside the scope of dancing, for additional money, according to the release.

Arrests were made of a 61-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman and a 31-year-old woman, according to the release. Two of the people were release after being interviewed by investigarors and the 31-year-old was held on charges of engaging in prostitution.

The case is ongoing and detectives will go through electronic items that were seized during the search warrant, including a DVR video system from inside the establishment that monitored cameras inside the VIP room.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
