The 21-year-old man wanted for shooting two Mifflin Township police officers has been captured, Brian Steel, president of Fraternal Order of Police Capital City Lodge #9, announced Friday evening, May 30, in a post on X.
Daveonte Dixon was wanted for shooting two Mifflin Township police officers on May 28 after he fled from a traffic stop.
It was not immediately clear if Dixon was captured alive.
A total reward of $40,000 has been offered for information leading to his arrest.
Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Rick Minerd announces a $10,000 reward offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect identified by Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Additional reward money was later added.
