A 78-year-old Daytona Beach Shores man allegedly forced a minor to perform sex acts on him at gunpoint, according to police.
Peter Brady was charged earlier this week with lewd and lascivious acts involving a minor with the defendant being over the age of 24 and the victim under the age of 18; aggravated assault with a firearm; and false imprisonment.

Brady was booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail on Wednesday, Sept. 10, and released a day later on $55,000 bond, according to jail records.
Daytona Beach Shores police and the Southeast Regional SWAT team executed a search warrant on Sept. 9 at Brady’s residence, located in the 2800 block of South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Shores, according to police.
Police seized approximately 20 firearms and 50 DVDs and video cassettes. Police warned “there may be additional victims or other persons with information related to sexual exploitation and/or solicitation involving minors involving Brady.”
Detectives have received tips dating back to the 1990s when Brady allegedly solicited minors for sexual activities, police said. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety at tips@cityofdbs.org or 386-763-5347.
