A Deltona man was arrested on Friday, Sept. 19 after he was accused of multiple sexual batteries against a girl, 16, including one in which he fled from the teen’s family after he was discovered with her in a park restroom, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
Carlos Rodriguez Jr., 43, Deltona, was charged with sexual battery of a victim 12-years-old but younger than 18 by a person 18 or older; lewd, lascivious sexual battery; and traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child, according to Volusia County Branch Jail online records.

Rodriguez was being held at the jail without bond.
