President Donald Trump’s campaign has released details about a rally he will hold Tuesday, April 29, in Macomb County in celebration of the 100th day of his second term next week.
On April 25, the campaign in an email said the event will be held at 6 p.m. April 29th at Macomb Community College in Warren. The event is open to the public, members of which can get tickets here.
Doors are set to open at 1:45 p.m. that day.
Last week, the White House announced Trump’s visit to Michigan, his first since being elected president to a second, nonconsecutive term in office. Trump won the state of Michigan in both the 2016 and 2024 elections, but lost the state and the election in 2020.
Since taking office for his second term, Trump has been aggressively working to remake the federal government, attempting to slash jobs and agencies, purging diversity programs, deporting immigrants and instituting tariffs that have threatened to upend the global economic order but which he says are needed to force fairer trade deals.
In a news release, the Trump campaign said the Tuesday event is intended to be a “celebration of the most successful and monumental first 100 days of any administration in history.”
“President Trump has taken more executive actions than any other president in history during the monumental ‘First 100 Days‘ – and hundreds of his promises have already been kept. Most significantly, President Trump has delivered on his two most important signature campaign promises: the border is secure and inflation is ending,” the release said.
Trump has succeeded in bringing border crossings along the southwest border to an all-time low. But inflation, as measured by the Consumer Price Index, has been virtually unchanged stretching back into the last several months of former President Joe Biden’s tenure.
Trump cannot run for another term due to constitutional limitations.
