A Dixons Mills woman was killed July 20 in a single-vehicle crash in Marengo County.
Laporsha R. Dumas, 34, was fatally injured when the 2018 Nissan Altima she was driving left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Dumas was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers say.
The crash occurred at around 12:45 a.m., on Alabama 10 near the 44-mile marker, about one mile west of Dixons Mills.

No further information was provided. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
