A Morris County school bus driver was arrested for allegedly leaving a special needs student alone and unsupervised in a parked bus, officials said.
On July 10, Valley View Elementary School in Towaco noticed the absence of one of their students. The school staff was advised by the parents that the student boarded the bus that morning.
The 4-year-old student was found on a school bus, parked in the bus yard, said the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

The student was taken to a local hospital for an elevated heart rate and low blood pressure. The student was allegedly left alone in the parked bus unsupervised for two and a half hours, said the MCPO.
The school bus driver, Frank J. Blair, 61, of Hamburg, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Blair was released from custody. No supervision of juveniles was one of the conditions of his release. Their was no mention of Blair’s next court date in the press release sent by the MCPO.
