Enbridge Line 5 pipeline relocation common sense project that will create jobs

Must read

Despite the Wisconsin DNR conducting a more than four-year long environmental review and issuing permits confirming the Enbridge Line 5 relocation project will comply with environmental laws and regulations, and the U.S. EPA concluding claims the relocation will impact the Bad River Reservation’s water quality are without supporting data or evidence, extreme activists continue to push to shut down this vital energy artery.

The project is so important to our state’s economy and families that a diverse group of organizations representing labor unions, farmers and small businesses have come out in support of the Line 5 relocation. Let’s be honest, these aren’t groups that often agree on issues, but in this case, everyone with common sense understands we can’t pull the energy rug out from under our state’s businesses, farmers and families.

Look, the radical environmentalists aren’t going to support anything that doesn’t lead to higher prices at the pump. Their opposition isn’t about Line 5, it’s about forcing their ideology on all of us. It’s time to ignore the fringe and move forward with this commonsense project.
