We now have more information regarding a fatal accident in West Erie County that involved a motorcycle and a vehicle.
Erie County Coroner Lyle Cook has confirmed that a 62-year-old Geneva, Ohio man was killed as a result of this crash.
That accident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday evening near the intersection of West Ridge Road and Nash Road in West Erie County.

Police on the scene shut down all westbound traffic along West Ridge Road.
One bystander who was nearby when the incident occurred recalled his experience.
Joseph Holdsworth said, “Someone screamed help and I looked out again, and there was a motorcycle and someone laying there. I ran out there and checked out what was happening. There was no car. The car was gone. Somebody hit him and ran off. I just backed up and called 911 from there.”
Police are still investigating the incident.
