Relax. It’s only a training exercise.
The FBI El Paso will be having a crisis negotiations certification training exercise on Friday, July 18, at the El Paso convention center in Downtown.
The FBI El Paso issued an advisory so residents do not become alarmed if they see personnel in tactical gear and federal, state and local law enforcement vehicles during the exercise from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center. The exercise is not open to the public.
