Here are Fourth of July events and other activities going on during the three-day, holiday weekend.
Fire Over the Fox
Festival Foods Fire Over the Fox is back and runs from 3-10:30 p.m. July 4 along the Fox River in downtown Green Bay. Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.
The Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series is combined with Fire Over the Fox with a stage in the Neville Public Museum parking lot July 4.
Green Bay Rockers players and the team’s bat dog, Cooper on June 6 at Capital Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon.
Rockers games
The Green Bay Rockers play Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at 1 p.m. July 4 in Green Bay. Tickets are $4 in sections 104-124 with a promo code.
They take on Wausau Woodchucks at 3 p.m. July 5 for 920 Day with $9 tickets and $2 beers. The second game with Wausau is at 1 p.m. July 6 at Capital Credit Union Park with a Shark Week beach towel giveaway.
Fourth of July at Heritage Hill
Celebrate the Fourth of July by learning about the area’s past. Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S. Webster Ave., Allouez, will share stories and have hands-on activities about the La Baye Fur Trade, 1830s Fort Howard, and the expanding community in the late 1800s.
Picnic on Heritage Hill’s grounds and get a drink from the bar from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. July 4. The event runs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 4. General admission is $6 for adults and $3 for kids under 12. More information is at heritagehillgb.org.
