On Sunday, the state average for a gallon of gas in Florida was $3.05.
That’s a 10-cent increase from a week ago, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group.
“Florida gas prices have fluctuated within the same 26-cent range for almost a year now,” said spokesman Mark Jenkins.
Jenkins believes prices at the pump will stay in that range until something major, like a hurricane, impacts the supply chain.
The most expensive metro markets for gas are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.18), Gainesville ($3.14) and Naples ($3.13).
The cheapest metro markets are Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($2.85), Panama City ($2.87) and Pensacola ($2.89).
