Jul. 4—Gordon: Good Neighbor Days starts with a 5K at 8:05 a.m. with registration from 7-8 a.m.; pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m. at the Gordon Fire Hall; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Gordon museum and depot will be open for tours, the fire tower will be open for the public to climb and the historical society’s Sounds, Sweets and More event is at the town hall; a classic car show, kids car show and tractor show is 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the ballpark; the parade starts at 2 p.m.; duck races at 4 p.m.; St. Anthony’s Catholic Church service at 4 p.m.; kids races at 7 p.m.; live music at 8 p.m.; fireworks and laser light show after dark.

Oakland: A farmer’s market runs 9 a.m. to noon at Stars and Seeds Farm, 6269 Rice Farm Road.
Superior: Earth Rider Brewery hosts the Monsters of Rock Festival at 4 p.m. The hard rock show is ages 21 and up. Lineup is Throw Me The Remote, Pronoya, Shadows of Me, Inflict, Surefire and Torment. Admission is $20.
