The H-1 westbound before the Makakilo exit has been reopened, according to the Hawaii Department of Transportation.
Paramedics treated and transported a 24-year-old man to a trauma center after the motor vehicle collision, although there was no information immediately available on his condition.
PREVIOUS COVERAGE Two road closures are affecting traffic on Oahu this morning due to separate motor vehicle crashes, according to the Hawaii Department of Transportation.
As of 11 a.m., the H-1 freeway westbound is closed before the Makakilo exit after a crash involving an overturned vehicle. Traffic is being detoured to Kualakai Parkway.
In a second incident reported at 11 :26 a.m., Kahuapaani Street is closed in the makai (Pearl Harbor-bound ) direction. Vehicles are being routed through the Ice Palace parking lot.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes where possible.
