Aug. 10—A Hartselle man was arrested Friday after Priceville police said they found fentanyl, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Officers responded around 4:45 p.m. Friday to a report of a disturbance in the 1400 block of Natural Bridge Road, according to the Priceville Police Department. While no active disturbance was found, police said officers saw a vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as John Allan McBay, 59, was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he possessed a mixture of fentanyl and methamphetamine, police said.

McBay was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Morgan County Jail, where his bond was set at $31,000 by a Morgan County Circuit judge.
