April showers have started in the Coastal Bend, bringing an unwelcome amount of humidity.
The National Weather Service of Corpus Christi reported chances of rain in the area will remain through the evening of April 23.
Thunderstorms on April 21 could produce heavy rain with a 20% to 40% chance of at least 1 inch of rain across the northern Coastal Bend.
Clouds will clear out in the evening. Meteorologists expect a high in the 80s to 90s with a 20% chance of a shower or thunderstorm on April 22.

Throughout the week, additional rain will be possible.
April 23 will be the most active day, according to the National Weather Service, with a chance of rain from 20% to 50%.
Chances of rain are forecast to dissolve by April 24 through the weekend. Temperatures will remain in the low 80s to mid-90s.
