Hershey man charged with alleged sexual assault of two children in Annville Twp.

A 37-year-old Hershey man was arrested on multiple charges of child sexual assault after allegedly abusing two children between 2020 and 2022, according to the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department.

Matthew Koepke has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual Intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, two counts of endangering welfare of children, two counts of corruption of minors, two counts of indecent assault, indecent exposure, and simple assault.

On Aug. 13, 2024, a woman reportedly contacted Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services to report the abuse of her children that occurred in an Annville Township residence.

The woman told police that the children came to her in August and disclosed that Koepke had been touching them in a sexual manner between 2020 and 2022, according to court documents.

During a forensic interview with police, one victim said that when she asked Koepke to stop he allegedly “got mad, threw things, and hit her in the face with the palm of his hand.” The victims added that during some of these incidents, Koepke would bruise or strike them if they did not comply with his orders.

According to court documents, one of the victims was between the ages of 7 to 8 through age 11 during the alleged incidents. Koepke also allegedly struck a third male victim during the time frame of the abuse.

Koepke has a preliminary hearing scheduled before Magisterial District Judge David Warner at 8:30 a.m. June 26.
