It’s set to be another wet day for most of Central Florida on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS in Melbourne gives the region 70-80% chance for precipitation continuing a trend that brought several inches to some areas of Central Florida on Saturday.
“Some locations locally could realize 2-4 inch rainfall amounts due to the slow-moving nature, as well as for any multiple rounds received,” forecasters said. “Additional heavy rainfall could also exacerbate flooding potential for areas that have recently seen multiple heavy downpours in recent days.”
Temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s with peak heat indices that could make it feel like 99-105 degrees Fahrenheit.
Rain chances diminish heading into Monday, but another 1-3 inches could drop on some areas.
