The office manager of a nearby business talked about the scene she saw early this morning.

“It was scary to see a bunch of officers putting on bulletproof vests, like what is happening? Right now? Once they said the scene was secure, I felt really safe, but I was really intrigued of what, like, homeland security in such a small community like Palencia?” Katie Picciano said.
