Newly released data from Realtor.com for February shows that potential buyers and sellers in Fond du Lac County saw higher home sale prices than the previous month’s median of $225,000.

The median home sold for $242,500, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows. That means February, the most recent month for which figures are available, was up 7.8% from January.

Compared to February 2024, the median home sales price was up 5.4% compared to $230,000.

Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

  • Looking only at single-family homes, the $239,950 median selling price in Fond du Lac County was up 6.6% in February from $225,000 the month prior. Since February 2024, the sales price of single-family homes was up 5.5% from a median of $227,500. No single-family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month.

  • Condominiums and townhomes increased by 25% in sales price during February to a median of $300,000 from $240,000 in January. In February, the number of recorded sales in Fond du Lac County rose by 17.9% since February 2024 — from 67 to 79. All residential home sales totaled $20.2 million.

Across Wisconsin, homes sold at a median of $270,550 during February, up 1.3% from $266,979 in January. There were 4,203 recorded sales across the state during February, up 1% from 4,163 recorded sales in February 2024.
