Compared to May 2024, the median home sales price was up 5.7% compared to $587,000.
Realtor.com sources sales data from real estate deeds, resulting in a few months’ delay in the data. The statistics don’t include homes currently listed for sale and aren’t directly comparable to listings data.

Looking only at single-family homes, the $637,000 median selling price in Plymouth County was up 5.2% in May from $605,500 the month prior. Since May 2024, the sales price of single-family homes was up 4.4% from a median of $610,000.Eighty single family homes sold for $1 million or more during the month, compared to 67 recorded transactions of at least $1 million in May 2024.
Condominiums and townhomes increased by 7.3% in sales price during May to a median of $493,500 from $460,000 in April. Compared to May 2024, the sales price of condominiums and townhomes was up 3% from $479,000. Four condominiums or townhomes sold for $1 million or more during the month, compared to five recorded transactions of at least $1 million in May 2024.

In May, the number of recorded sales in Plymouth County rose by 7.9% since May 2024 — from 497 to 536. All residential home sales totaled $389.2 million.
Across Massachusetts, homes sold at a median of $644,426 during May, up 5.6% from $610,100 in April. There were 6,386 recorded sales across the state during May, down 1.6% from 6,491 recorded sales in May 2024.
