U.S. Marshals are actively looking for a homicide suspect in Rincon.
According to a statement issued by the Rincon Police Department, the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals tried to apprehend 19-year-old Demarion Quinton Butler but he was able to elude law enforcement.
He was last seen on West 7th Street near Stokes Avenue. Law enforcement believes the suspect is armed and dangerous. Butler was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, is 6 feet tall and weighs 175 pounds.
