State Rep. Travis Weaver and State Sen. Neil Anderson will host a town hall in Kewanee, according to a community announcement.
The event is set for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Kewanee City Hall, 401 E. 3rd Street.
Participants will hear legislative updates from Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson, and they will also be able to receive assistance on any state-related issues. Attendees will also be able to ask questions, meet and talk directly with Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson.
“I look forward to seeing everyone in Kewanee and hearing about issues important to them,” Weaver said in the announcement. “These town hall events are a great way to connect with constituents, and the feedback we receive is valuable and helps us do our jobs better.”
Weaver serves Illinois House District 93, while Anderson represents Illinois Senate District 47.
“A lot of the legislation we file comes from the constituents we represent, so having these events and conversations allows us to learn about the issues impacting our communities and how we can help in the state legislature,” Anderson said in the announcement.
