What used to be Brookfield’s Bed Bath & Beyond will soon become the first Wisconsin location for Lava Island, a tropical-themed indoor play center with slides, trampolines, a jungle gym, obstacle courses and more.

When will Lava Island open in Brookfield, Wisconsin?
Lava Island will be located at 605 Main St., the former site of Bed Bath & Beyond that closed in 2020.
Lava Island plans to open in late fall or early winter, “though that could shift as we get closer,” a spokesperson with Lava Island told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel over email.
Lava Island has locations in Colorado and Montana. Along with the Brookfield location, the website says new locations are coming in the following places:

What can you do at Lava Island in Brookfield?
It’s not clear yet which attractions will be featured at Brookfield’s Lava Island location. But according to the website, the site might have a gigantic volcano slide, a tricycle track, an area for toddlers, trampolines, foam pits and an obstacle course.
Private party rooms will be available to rent out for birthdays and other special occasions.
Lava Island locations include a cafe which offers pizza, wings, funnel fries, coffee, milkshakes and more, according to the website.
All who play at Lava Island are required to wear socks. Patrons can bring their own or purchase a pair of grip socks for $3.50.

All-day general admission ages 1 to 59: $20.00
One-hour general admission ages 1 to 59: $12.50
Seniors 60+ get a 20% discount, and members of the military get a 15% discount on admissions.
