A 61-year-old Lee County man was arrested Wednesday, July 16, and charged with two felonies: discharging a weapon into an occupied property and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Bobby Francis Price of the 3200 block of St. Andrews Church Road, southeast of Sanford, was released later that day on a $100,000 unsecured bond by District Court Judge Craig James.
According to an arrest warrant, Price allegedly fired a 9 mm Smith & Wesson M&P Shield into a residence where Margarita Ibarra Ibarra was at the time and inflicted serious injury on her.
The address of the incident is the same address where Price lives.
In the release order, James told Price not to assault, threaten, harass or injure his accuser. Price was not ordered to have no contact, however.
According to a court document, Price was cooperative with law enforcement throughout the investigation.
Price has a disposition hearing set for July 30.
