LEESBURG — Leesburg Police officers responded to a shooting reported in the area of the 2300 block of Sennett Drive about 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 5.
On arrival, LPD officers found a victim who had been shot inside a vehicle and a passenger who sustained injuries and was in critical condition as of Monday evening.
Leesburg Police detectives, along with crime scene investigators, are actively investigating the incident and following up on leads.
“Several vehicles have been seized in connection with the case, and there are persons of interest,” the LPD’s spokesperson said.
