Madisonville shooting over the weekend leaves 66-year-old dead, police say

A man was killed in a weekend shooting in Madisonville, according to Cincinnati police.

Officers responded around 1:20 p.m. on April 27 for a reported shooting in the 4100 block of Homer Avenue when they found 66-year-old Clyde Beard suffering from a gunshot wound, officials said in a news release.

First responders attempted to provide life-saving medical aid to Beard, but he died at the scene. Officials have yet to announce an arrest or give any information about a possible suspect.
