Man, 20, shot to death in Portsmouth, police say

A man was killed in a shooting Sunday afternoon, police said in a news release.

Around 6:18 p.m., police were called to the 2300 block of Victory Blvd. When officers arrived, they found Kendall Lamont Llanos, 20, unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking for help identifying the suspected perpetrator. He’s been described by police as a Black male with a lighter complexion, around 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-8, between 150 and 160 pounds, and was seen fleeing the scene wearing a green and white short-sleeved shirt and light-colored jeans.

No other information was released.
