A 23-year-old man has died following a shooting incident at 5 :45 p.m. Saturday at Schofield Barracks.
The suspect in custody is assigned to the 25th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade.
The U.S. Army said today that the 25th Infantry Division is aware of the incident at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific. The victim was immediately transported to medical care and died from his wounds.
This was an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the installation or the surrounding community, the Army said.
