The Redding Police Department is investigating a Sunday night shooting that happened at the Twin View Mobile Home Park and sent a man to the hospital.
Redding police Sgt. Paul Slagle on Monday morning said the shooting was reported around 7:45 p.m.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder, Slagle said.
“Detectives are handling the investigation, and I would defer to them for the ID of the subject in custody,” Slagle said.
The man who was shot was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, Slagle said. He did not have the victim’s identity.
Slagle also referred questions about what led to the shooting and whether the two individuals knew each other and lived in the mobile home park to the department’s detective division.
