Alexander Masariego-Flores was found guilty of three counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child in December, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office stated Monday.

Masariego-Flores sexually assaulted an 8-year-old child multiple times in a home in town between February and September 2023 and in front of another child one time, the prosecutor’s office said. The Morristown Police Department received a referral about the sexual abuse of a child on Sept. 16, 2023.
