A 27-year-old man was killed early Saturday after he was shot three times in the chest during a road rage clash on a Bronx street, police said.
The victim, who was driving a 2012 grey Infiniti, was near Co-op City at about 2 a.m. when he got into an argument with another motorist, a police source with knowledge of the case said. It was not immediately disclosed where the argument took place.
After being shot, the victim sped off and fell unconscious behind the wheel of his Infiniti at the corner of Givan and Palmer Aves. in Baychester.
Police were called to the corner, and EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital, where he died a short time later. The victim’s name was not immediately disclosed as they tracked down family members.
Cops on Saturday were scouring the area and surrounding streets looking for surveillance footage that could help them track the victim’s movements and help identify the shooter.
