Man without a license allegedly steals motorcycle in Nanakuli

Honolulu police arrested a 47-year-old man late Saturday after pulling him over and allegedly discovering he was driving a stolen motorcycle.

The man was stopped at about 11 :10 p.m. Saturday night in the Nanakuli area on suspicion of “excessive speeding ” according to a description of the arrest from the Honolulu Police Department.

A check of the motorcycle revealed it was stolen. The 47-year-old man was arrested at 11 :22 p.m. in the 92-0200 block of Farrington Highway in Nanakuli. The suspect was booked on suspicion of stealing the motorcycle, speeding and driving without a license.

He remains in police custody. His identity was not immediately released.
