Marjorie Taylor Greene Denies Being Trump ‘Traitor,’ Calls Out MAGA Flip-Flip On Epstein Files

Must read

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) hammered Republicans for not supporting the release of files related to late billionaire and child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Greene joined comedian Tim Dillon on his Tim Dillon Show podcast on Saturday where he denied being a “traitor” to the president by breaking with many other MAGA voices by demanding more Epstein documents be released.

Greene and some other Republicans have pushed for the release of Epstein documents since the FBI/DOJ released a memo earlier this year denying the existence of a list of high profile clients Epstein sex trafficked for. They also concluded he committed suicide while awaiting sex trafficking charges in 2019. Epstein’s longtime associated, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently serving 20 years for sex trafficking. The DOJ said that Maxwell “conspired with Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse minors.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has convinced a handful of Republicans, including Greene, to join bipartisan legislation that would force the release of more files related to Epstein’s case. Massie has already claimed that a list of potential clients for Epstein include the names of a high profile politician, a GOP donor, and many more. Greene read the list on Dillon’s show.

Speaking with Dillon, Greene insisted she is “MAGA through and through” despite congressional Republicans largely not supporting Epstein Files efforts. Greene accused those Republicans and others of flip-flopping on Epstein now that Trump is in office.

“Everyone that voted for Trump-Vance, everyone was like, release the Epstein Files! This is not even an argument. It’s not even debatable. It’s not being a traitor to the president to sign my name on a Thomas Massie discharge petition to release the Epstein Files. No, no, no. I am staying true to what we’ve always said. There needs to be transparency,” the congresswoman said.

Greene said she’s “really upset” with the direction of Congress, accusing Republicans of not addressing Epstein or the high “cost of living,” including home loans and health insurance.

“I was thinking about it this morning, I was like, you know, I’ve been in Washington all week, I’ve been at my office, and I’ve been at the Capitol, and there’s two things I couldn’t find this week,” she said. “I couldn’t find anywhere the Epstein Files, and I also couldn’t find the Republican plan to fix the absolutely destroyed health insurance industry that got wiped out in 2015 with Obamacare. Those are the two things I can’t find!”

Greene predicted at one point that much of the information related to Epstein has been “destroyed” behind the scenes.

“But is it worth trying [to get them]?” she said.

“1000%,” Dillon responded.

“Yeah, it is worth trying,” Greene said.
