Regarding “Fearmongering about Medicaid,” Letters to the Editor, March 23:
Kudos to the letter writer. The Trump administration has repeatedly said it is not going to make cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.
Medicaid recipient Emily Gabriella protests outside the U.S. Supreme Court as oral arguments are delivered in the case of Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic on April 2, 2025 in Washington D.C.
What we should be focusing on are people who are 150 to 200 years old still cashing Social Security checks. Or people collecting Medicare benefits in one state and doing the same in another.
Letter: ICE ‘error’ must be corrected. Kilmar Abrego Garcia must come home
How about asking Gov. Phil Murphy why New Jersey has the highest property tax in the United States? Or ask why, as the letter writer pointed out, NJ Family Care costs $24 billion; $14 billion from the federal government and $10 billion from the state. Maybe more can come from the state considering the tolls, the taxes and the lottery/gambling revenues.
