The Palmetto State is still the number one state to relocate to this year, holding its top spot from 2024.

Three South Carolina cities also placed among the top 10 most popular cities to move to: Myrtle Beach (1), Greenville (3), and Charleston (9).

This data comes from MoveBuddha, which analyzed over 55,000 searches on its Moving Cost Calculator from Jan. 1 to March 10. The findings were then used to determine where people were interested in moving to the most.

“The rankings reflect a continued trend of Americans relocating to the Southeast for its affordability, climate, and lifestyle.” said the study.
