A New Jersey lottery player won a $219,820 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on July 27 − the second time the game has been won in four days

The New Jersey Lottery announced that a ticket sold in Hudson County matched the five numbers to win the jackpot on Sunday.

It’s the 40th time the Jersey Cash 5 has been won so far this year.

The winning ticket was sold at Belmont Liquors on Monticello Avenue in Jersey City. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers for July 27 were: 06, 08, 27, 28 and 44. The XTRA was 05 and Bulleseye: 24.

Also, three lottery players won $2,000 by matching four balls, the Bullseye and the Xtra, the lottery agency said.

The NJ Lottery estimates the next Jersey Cash 5 jackpot at $150,000 for the July 28 drawing.

Jersey Cash 5 won in Union County

On Thursday, July 24, a $422,167 Jersey 5 Cash 5 jackpot was won in Union County.

The winning ticket was sold at Quick Stop Deli and Grill on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union Township. The win comes months after the lucky retailer sold a $7 million Cash 4 Life jackpot winning ticket on May 14.

The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers for July 24 were: 01, 04, 05, 23 and 31. The XTRA was 03 and Bulleseye: 23. The retail receives a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
