Good news, Phoenix, no full freeway closures were scheduled in the area from July 18 though 21, but there were some lane restrictions scheduled.
A lane restriction was scheduled along Loop 101 (Agua Freeway) in the northwest Valley, and a closure was scheduled at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard at Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) in Scottsdale, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) on-ramp at Price Road was also set to close, ADOT said.
ADOT advised drivers to allow for extra travel time and urged motorists to use detour routes while the weekend work took place. Drivers can check az511.gov, the AZ511 app or call 511 to see real-time highway conditions, ADOT said.
The following lane restrictions and road closures were scheduled for the weekend of July 18 through July 21.
Loop 101 narrowed in both directions between 35th and 59th avenues
The Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions between 35th and 59th avenues from 10 p.m. July 18 through 10 p.m. July 19. The lane restrictions were for a widening project, according to ADOT.
51st Avenue was scheduled to close in both directions near Loop 101 from 10 p.m. July 18 through 5 a.m. July 21 for bridge work.
The westbound Loop 101 frontage road was set to close between 35th and 51st avenues from 10 p.m. July 18 through 5 a.m. July 21.

Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Price Road closed
The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Price Road was scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. July 18 through 5 a.m. July 20 for a widening project, ADOT said.
Detour: ADOT advised motorists to consider using the eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Alma School Road.
Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard closed in both directions at Loop 101
Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard was scheduled to close in both directions at Loop 101 from 9 p.m. July 18 through 5 a.m. July 21 for bridge work as part of a widening project, ADOT said.
Detour: ADOT encouraged drivers to use detours along the Loop 101 frontage roads between Raintree Drive and Bell Road.
The northbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Raintree Drive was scheduled to close for two months starting at 11:45 p.m. July 20 for reconstruction, according to ADOT.
