Oklahoma City police arrested a man Tuesday who reportedly threatened to kill children at a daycare in order to “expel demons” from them.
According to a Fox 25 report, police officers responded to the Kidzone Learning Center on NW 10th Street on Monday morning, after a man walked into the facility and was yelling about how God had sent him to expel demons.
The 54-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for threatening to perform acts of violence and a terrorism hoax, according to the Oklahoma County Jail’s inmate tracker. The Oklahoman is not naming the man because he has not been formally charged.
The man refused to leave when asked, and moved further into the building while continuing to yell about expelling demons from the children. He also said he was going to kill the children in order to do so, Fox 25 reported.

While he walked into a classroom where children were, continuing to yell that he was going to kill them, teachers blocked the man from moving further and he left without assaulting anyone.
Parents were notified of the incident and the facility was placed on lockdown following the incident.
Fox 25 reported that the Oklahoma City Police Department has previously received calls regarding the man exhibiting similar behavior at nearby businesses.
