The Tulsa State Fair ranked as the No.1 Fair for Foodies in the U.S., according to a recent list published by travel experts at SIXT.
Running for 11 days, featuring 440 vendors and averaging 100,000 daily visitors, garnered the top spot for Tulsa.
The ranking took Blue Ribbon Group’s list of the best state fairs in America and scored each based on food vendor variety, overall size, affordability, and length of festivities, then ranked the top 25 foodie destinations accordingly. More food vendors, larger size, longer run time, and lower cost contributed to a higher score.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma State Fair, which takes place at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City, came in at No. 20 on the list of the top 25, also running for 11 days, but featuring just 60 food vendors and a lower daily visitor count of about 73,000 people, according to SIXT.
