NEW ALBANY – A Union County man was killed in a two-car crash east of New Albany Wednesday morning.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Highway 30 in the Keownville community in Union County on June 4 around 5:30 a.m.
The preliminary investigation determined that Joshua N. Smith, 33, of New Albany, traveled west on Highway 30 in a 2014 Chevrolet Impala when it collided with the eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Nathaniel E. Neal, 20, of Tupeloi.
Smith received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
