Clearwater police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus on Saturday night.
The crash was reported just before 7 p.m. in the Clearwater Mall parking lot in the 2700 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, according to a news release from the Clearwater Police Department. The pedestrian, whom police identified as an adult woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information was immediately released.
