Apr. 28—DALLAS TWP. — Days after Lehman Township police arrested Avery Matthew Alexander on allegations he extorted a teenage girl for sex in exchange to giving her weed vapes, police in Dallas Township say he was selling illicit drugs to middle-school aged children.
Dallas Township police on Monday released information following the execution of a search warrant at Alexander’s residence on Kunkle Road in Harveys Lake.
Police said they initiated an investigation after several juveniles became ill after using THC vape pens allegedly sold to them by an adult male.
A search warrant was served at Alexander’s residence where police say they seized $9,887, quantities of THC wax, THC vape pens, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms.
The investigation revealed, police allege, Alexander sold illegal substances to middle school-aged children.
Alexander was charged by Dallas Township police with corruption of minors and criminal use of communication facility. Additional charges may be filed against Alexander, police said.
Police in Lehman Township last week arrested Alexander after a teenage girl claimed he forced her into having sexual relations in exchange to giving her THC vapes.
Alexander was charged by Lehman Township police with aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, criminal use of communication facility, corruption of minors and involuntary servitude.
Alexander, 19, was arraigned by District Judge Brian Tupper of Kingston Township and was released after posting $27,500 total bail.
